About Me

For those that don’t know me, my name is Elly. I recently graduated from the University of Bath where I studied BSc (Hons) Sports Performance. Whilst in Bath, I gained my qualification as a Sports Massage Therapist. I also trainied with Team Bath and became a member of The Register of Exercise Professionals (REPs). In January, I will be starting my postgraduate study with an MSc in Physiotherapy (Pre-reg) at The University of Birmingham.

I am a competitive BMX Racer and have competed at both World and European events. I am also a keen weightlifter and that’s what you will catch me doing at CrossFit Exe! Through my studies and my sport,  I have gained knowledge about the impact of exercise on the body and the importance of injury prevention. Having undergone many sports massage treatments, I have seen the benefits in my training, recovery and, ultimately, performance.

For anyone participating in regular physical activity, Sports Massage Therapy can be a great addition to your normal training programme. Treatment sessions can be tailored to individual requirements following initial assessment.
